GEMINI INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF SCHWYZ is a methodologically independent school based on certain key psychological and educational concepts with the aim of preparing children not only for success in school, but for success in life.

This entails extending the notion of "intelligence" beyond the traditionally recognised verbal, analytical and mathematical skills to encompass other essential skills and aptitudes as well. These include interpersonal skills (the ability to communicate effectively), social competence and a sense of responsible citizenship. Talents and aptitudes such as musicality, artistic talent, creativity and athletic ability are also nurtured and encouraged. Dazu gehören auch die Fähigkeiten wie sich zu präsentieren und miteinander zu kommunizieren, Sozialkompetenz und interkulturelle Verständigung. Deshalb wird  der Unterricht so individuell wie möglich erteilt.

RECEPTION 2 TO 4 years old children

Gemini international School

The Gemini Pre-School offers a special developped program for the three and four years old children.

The concentration and the commitment and the interest on the science is individually trained.

    PRIMARY SCHOOL Grades 1 to 6

    Gemini international School

    Each Grade with max. 15 children is taught by two fully qualified and experienced mother-tongue teachers.

    Der Lehrplan der Primarschule ist eine Kombination des Lehrplans der Primarschulen des Kantons Schwyz und des British „National Curriculum“. Damit wird ein Übertritt der Kinder in eine analoge oder fortführende öffentliche Schule in der Schweiz oder im Ausland jederzeit gewährleistet, indem die nötigen Dokumente bereitgestellt und erforderliche Übertrittstests vorgenommen werden.

    MIDDLE SCHOOL Grades 7 to 9

    GEMINI Middle School offers small classes of up to 12 children and all classes are taught in both English and German by mother-tongue teachers.

    An emphasis is placed on logical, critical and global thinking, language and literacy competence and an appreciation of the arts.

    TRANSFER INTO GRAMMAR SCHOOL

    Pupils completing 2 years at GEMINI Middle School have the possibility to transfer after a successful transition assessment and an official entrance exam to the "Kurzzeitgymnasium" or "Handelsmittelschule" in the Canton of Schwyz.
